Jason Adler is a cinematographer from Los Angeles, currently based between LA and Athens, Greece. His work centers on story-first filmmaking — using composition, movement, and light to support character and emotion rather than overpower them.
A graduate of CU Boulder with a BFA in Film, Jason has shot across narrative, documentary, and commercial projects, developing a visual style that blends classical framing with a modern, grounded realism. He’s particularly drawn to projects that treat location as a character and that allow space for performance to breathe.
Working internationally has expanded his perspective, giving him a sensitivity to tone, culture, and atmosphere that informs every frame.
When he’s not on set, he’s surfing, skiing, or shooting 35mm stills — usually chasing good light.
